Review and Comment FY21 UPWP
What is the FY 21 UPWP?
The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) serves as the annual work program for FAMPO staff. It provides details of the transportation-related planning activities that FAMPO staff intends to accomplish during the fiscal year (FY) utilizing federal, state, and local resources.
Included in the UPWP is a budget, which details how each fund source will be utilized. This permits the UPWP to act as a grant application for federal funds and also as a management tool for directing the staff activities throughout the year. The UPWP is reviewed and updated annually.
A new fiscal year will start July 2020, and thus a new UPWP is required.
Why should you review and comment?
The public comment period for the FY21 UPWP is an opportunity for the public to review and comment on FAMPO’s proposed work for the year. It is also a chance for the public to review how FAMPO plans to use funds.
Before the FAMPO Policy Committee can adopt the FY21 UPWP, there must be a 30-day public comment period. Your comments on the proposed work program will help Policy Committee members make informed decisions.
How to Review and Comment
The comment period opens May 20, 2020, and ends June 19, 2020.
