A New Community Engagement and Equity Plan
Review and Comment on our Proposed Community Engagement and Equity Plan
The Community Engagement and Equity Plan is the plan FAMPO staff will follow to ensure all community members and stakeholders are given opportunities to participate in the transportation decision-making process and that they are provided with the resources they need to participate. The new proposed plan fulfills and exceeds federal requirements to have a public participation plan and a Title VI plan which outline steps the metropolitan planning organization will take to provide meaningful and equitable civic participation opportunities and ensure compliance with nondiscrimination laws.
How to Review the Proposed Plan

Most sections of the proposed plan provide information and procedures for FAMPO staff and committee members. A few sections are for community members and provide information on how they can influence transportation decisions. This page contains a video that explains the different sections and their importance.
