Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC)
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is an action group comprised of citizens, planners, biking and walking clubs and others whose purpose is to advise the Policy Committee during the update of the George Washington Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan, to represent state and local governments, community organizations and the general public interests in transportation planning decisions, and to provide feedback to FAMPO staff on projects relating to walking and bicycling. The BPAC meets during the update of the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).
The BPAC is currently meeting to update the Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan which is part of the updated to 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The meetings begin are in the GWRC/FAMPO Conference Room, located at 406 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA at 6:00 p.m. These meetings are open to the public and public participation is encouraged.
