Picture asking "What will you ask?" with a thinking stick figure and suggested questions about funding, bike and pedestrian issues, and what transportation is.

During the virtual Facebook session on December 18, at 12:30 pm, FAMPO transportation planners, who focus on regional transportation issues, will be available to answer your questions on transportation planning issues. You can ask questions during the Facebook live stream by typing them into the chatbox. You can also just tune in without asking questions.

What might you ask about? You can ask planners to explain what transportation planning is, who you can report road issues to, what trail projects are planned for the future, and their opinion on public transportation options.

You can also submit questions ahead of time, send them to fampo@gwregion.org, or call (540) 642-1235.

The live session will be streaming on Facebook only.  To find the FAMPO Facebook page, search Fredericksburg Area Metropolitan Planning Organization. The logo is a gold star. We will do our best to monitor questions submitted during Facebook Live and follow up on any questions we miss.

The session will be recorded and posted to the FAMPO Public Involvement webpage, here, https://www.fampo.gwregion.org/public-involvement/

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.  Persons who require special accommodations under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) or persons who require translation services (free of charge) should contact FAMPO at 540-642-1235 or fampo@gwregion.org. If hearing impaired, telephone 1-800-552-7917 (TTY) or 7-1-1.
