2030 Constrained Long Range Plan (CLRP) Fampo star

The 2030 Constrained Long Range Plan (CLRP) guides the Fredericksburg Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO) in implementing its transportation project priorities. The purpose of the 2030 CLRP is to identify the cost feasible transportation projects and strategies that will be needed during the next 30 years to reduce and mitigate traffic congestion resulting from new growth and development as well as address the region's mobility and travel needs. It ensures an efficient, well-functioning system as the region's population grows to over 540,000 by 2030. The plan required to be updated no less than evey four years following the adoption of SAFETEA-LU because our region is currently considered a non-attainment area in terms of air quality.
